1. Puppy Reservation Deposits

To reserve a Bernese Mountain Dog puppy, we require a non-refundable deposit.

Deposit Terms:

  • Deposits are used to reserve a specific puppy

  • Deposits remove the puppy from public availability

  • Deposits demonstrate serious intent to adopt

Because we turn away other interested families once a puppy is reserved, all deposits are non-refundable.

2. Non-Refundable Deposit Policy

Deposits are non-refundable under the following circumstances:

  • Change of mind after placing a deposit

  • Personal or financial reasons

  • Family or housing issues

  • Allergies discovered after deposit placement

We strongly encourage families to ask questions and be fully prepared before placing a deposit on a Bernese Mountain Dog puppy.

3. Refunds in Breeder-Related Circumstances

A full refund (including deposit) will be issued if:

  • The puppy becomes unavailable due to illness, injury, or unforeseen breeder circumstances

  • The puppy does not pass a veterinarian health check prior to pickup or delivery

  • We are unable to fulfill the adoption agreement

Refunds will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible.

4. Puppy Health Guarantee & Refund Eligibility

All Bernese Mountain Dog puppies from BerneseBuddy.com are:

If a licensed veterinarian diagnoses a serious, life-threatening congenital condition within the health guarantee period (as stated in your contract), buyers may be eligible for:

  • A replacement puppy (when available), or

  • A partial or full refund as outlined in the health agreement

Veterinary documentation will be required.

5. Final Payments

Final payment for your Bernese Mountain Dog puppy must be completed before:

  • Puppy pickup, or

  • Puppy delivery or shipping arrangements

Failure to complete payment within the agreed timeframe may result in forfeiture of the deposit and cancellation of the reservation.

6. Shipping & Delivery Fees

Shipping, delivery, or transportation fees are:

  • Non-refundable once services are scheduled or completed

  • Paid separately from the puppy purchase price (if applicable)

If shipping is canceled by the buyer, these fees cannot be refunded.

7. Cancellations by Buyer

If the buyer cancels after placing a deposit:

  • The deposit will be forfeited

  • No refund will be issued

This policy helps ensure fairness to other families waiting to adopt a Bernese Mountain Dog puppy.

8. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

We encourage buyers to contact us directly with any concerns before initiating a chargeback or dispute.

Unjustified chargebacks may result in:

  • Termination of the adoption agreement

  • Permanent refusal of future services

9. Policy Changes

BerneseBuddy.com reserves the right to update or modify this Refund & Deposit Policy at any time.
Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
